The Dreams

Run Date: 09/11/20 - 13/11/20.

Venue: Online.

Description: Inspired by the work of both Delia Derbyshire & Barry Bermange, our version of The Dreams incorporated a redesigned soundscape and a newly written text to create an immersive audio experience in which the listener truly imagines what it means to be conscious whilst dreaming.

With the direction of our Artistic Director, Adam Cachia, actors recorded the speeches in a socially distanced way, after being guided through the text with techniques found in the Demidov system.

The text was provided to us by two of our resident writers, Anna Pellegrini and Bernadett Szabo. This project couldn't have been done without the amazing skills of both our resident sound designer, Áron Gyenge, and guest sound artist Ernesto Bellicini.

For the best experience, like many of our audio dramas, we strongly recommend listening to it through the use of headphones – making it ideal for a digital theatre piece.
